The Cruel Prince: Book Review

This book was so amazing to me. I love all stories of Fae but this one especially drew me in. This is going be a fantastic series and I already have so much merchandise for it 🤷‍♀️ but I need more! Anyways, here is my review!

But first I guess I should start actually giving you guys star ratings huh? This book: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I don’t think I will be able to move on from this book. I have such a book hangover the world seems tilted to me. I need book two RIGHT NOW.
This was the first book I have read by Holly and I find myself wondering why I’ve never picked up any of her other books. I will definitely be looking to get The Darkest Part of the Forest soon (I got it by the way I just haven’t read it!) Her style of writing is one I can get behind. The story itself was so vividly written that I felt like I was actually a part of Elfhame and that I was weaved into the story itself.
I loved everything about how the story flowed. It starts off with a bang and honestly the rest of the novel I was holding my breath wondering how it was going to play out. The characters themselves had so much depth I felt like I was in an endless vortex of knowledge about them but at the same time that I wasn’t getting enough because I wanted MORE information on them!

I’m so anxious for book two to see where the story goes. I cannot gush enough about the main characters. Jude is such a badass and I love how sassy and snarky she can be, that’s my type of woman. And Cardan, HELLO. I need all of the art of him because what a charming little hooligan. I need more of him in my life. He’s described as having all the charm in the world and honestly it worked on me. It makes me wish I was Fae and living in Faerie :/ why is the mortal world so dull and lacking in glamour!?
