Friday Favorites: Books to re-read

It’s time for Friday Favorites hosted by the lovely Kibby over at Something of the Book! Head to her page for the rules and prompts! This is a weekly meme hosted every Friday where you can show off your favorites (or least favorites) based on her weekly prompts.

This weeks prompt is favorite books to re-read!

I am so excited for this prompt because I have so many books that I LOOOOVE re-reading and so many more than I would love to re-read some day!

Harry Potter (the entire series of course!)

I cannot even tell you how many times I have re-read these books! I have always loved them so much, since my first read when I was a kid and they were first being released. You best believe I attended those midnight release parties. I also own all of the audiobooks and love listening to them in my spare time!IMG_20181110_163434_791

A Court of Thorns and Roses (the entire series!)

I re-read this series last Spring to prepare for the release of A Court of Frost and Starlight because it had been a while since I read them. I will probably re-read them again when Cassian and Nesta’s book comes out also!IMG_20181118_170908_781

Throne of Glass (the entire series!)

This is definitely one of my favorite series ever. Yes, I know there are problems with it. Yes, I know there has been drama with it. Do I care? No. Am I still trash for this series. Absolutely. I’ve already re-read the whole series once, might as well do it again.IMG_20180914_072131_735

Strange the Dreamer / Muse of Nightmares

These books. Have you read them? If not, I highly urge you to because are my absolute favorite and you can best believe I will be re-reading them and getting the audiobooks so I can listen to them.img_20181101_082452_9843690692545639359704.jpg

The Grishaverse (Shadow and Bone series + Six of Crows Duology + King of Scars)

I haven’t re-read any of these books yet but to prepare for King of Scars I kind of want to. I obviously should have started re-reading them a while ago but I got distracted by other shiny books.IMG_20180902_125627_105

Okay this list may look short and sweet but if you actually do the math this adds up to 27 books that I have recently (within the last year) re-read or will re-read soon. I am sure there are many more I would be willing to re-read as well. I hope to find more soon with all the amazing books coming out this year as well!

    1. I hope you enjoy your reread! I reread the Harry Potter series like, every year lol. It’s hard to find time to reread books sometimes when so many new ones are coming out!

  1. I’m totally with you on TOG. It pains me to think about how much drama there’s been about it, but I’m absolutely in love with the writing and the characters, so I’m just gonna keep quietly enjoying it! I haven’t read Kingdom of Ash yet, though, and I’m so nervous for how the series is going to end!

    1. Ahh I hope you read Kingdom of Ash soon, it’s SO good! There are definitely some faults in the series and I understand where everyone is coming from but I also just quietly continue reading them and enjoying the crap out of them 😂

  2. I agree with your picks! 😍 Except, for Harry Potter because it’s one of those popular series I still shamelessly haven’t read yet. 🙈 For me, anything by Cassandra Clare and Leigh Bardugo is worth a re-read. 💖

    1. Harry Potter isn’t for everyone, don’t feel ashamed! 😊 ooh Leigh Bardugo definitely yes! I’ve only gotten through 5 of Cassandra Clare’s books though lol, by the time I get caught up on them it’ll be time to reread the first books again 😂
