Another day, another blog post needed. So here I was scrolling through my followed sites on WordPress when I stumbled upon the Marvel Avengers Book Tag that The Reading Hobbit posted a couple hours ago. I was not tagged to do this but I thought it would be fun to still give it a go 🙃 if you are reading this then I tag you to try this also!
Iron Man – a book that made you laugh out loud
Recently I would say Hanna and Nik from Gemina made me cackle. Their relationship is so witty and has so much banter, I love it.
Captain America – a book that sends a positive message
I would say Strange the Dreamer and Muse of Nightmares. These books, man they mean so much to me. But also, I think Sarai and Lazlo prove that sometimes not stooping to someone else’s level and being the better person is the route to take.
Thor – a book with a character’s strength you admire
Even though I thought Spensa from Skyward was a total asshole the entire book, I still thought she was entirely devoted and full of determination to achieve her goals and dreams. That is one reason I actually liked her aside from her attitude.
Black Widow – a book with a kick ass female protagonist
How could I pick any book other than Nevernight/Godsgrave. Mia Corvere is the literal definition of kick ass female protagonist. Just like everyone else I am EAGERLY awaiting Darkdawn to release.
Hulk – a book that made you incredibly angry
Batman : Nightwalker. This book. I swear I bring this up all the time but it literally ruined the DC Icons books for me and is STILL my lowest rated book ever. There was literally nothing good about this book. Sorry not sorry.
Hawkeye – an underrated book you think more people should pay attention to
Scythe and Thunderhead! These books are SO GOOD and oh my god over a year later I am STILL SHOOK over that ending! Neal posted recently on Twitter that he finally finished book three, The Toll, and I am HERE FOR IT.
Loki – a book with a twist or surprise that tricked you
WICKED SAINTS. I don’t know how, but Emily weaved such a wonderful tale that the last 50 pages had me entirely shook. I need book two NOW!
Do you agree with any of my picks? What would you choose instead?
