Monthly Wrap Up

March Wrap Up!

Hello my lovely friends and happy Sunday ๐Ÿ“šโ˜• I hope you have been able to get lots of reading time this weekend. I enjoyed reading Aurora Rising this morning along with drinking a lot of coffee! I wish I could do this every morning.

Okay on to my March Wrap Up! This month I managed to read TEN books! I will say, I listen to a lot of Audiobooks which really helps with my numbers each month.

Here are the ten books I read in March:

Also, YAY new theme on my insta! It’s brighter and more reflective of Spring which I am very happy about, I was getting tired of the dark background. If you want to check it out, head here. There’s only 8 in the photo because two are ebooks and I really tried to get my Kindle in the photo but I just couldn’t get it to work without a huge glare.

  1. Wildcard : by Marie Lu (format: Audiobook) โญโญโญ
  2. Wicked Saints : by Emily A. Duncan (format: ARC physical book) โญโญโญโญโญ

I read some truly AMAZING books this month and I am forever grateful for being given the chance to early review several of these! Tomorrow I will show you my April TBR that has some books I have looking forward to reading for A LONG TIME.

    1. Hi! Thank you, it’s my new theme for Spring! I like how these photos are turning out ๐Ÿ˜ and yes it’s actually on my April TBR that I have a post for tomorrow! I’ve been waiting for time to sit down with the physical book and also listen to the audiobook, it’s my favorite way to read these books since they’re incredibly unique with the format.

  1. It looks like you had a really great reading month! All of those are either for reading or reread. But I did just finish Furyborn for the first time (but unfortunately didn’t enjoy it as much as you did; it has such cool worldbuilding though).

  2. Oh my goodness, your new Insta theme really is gorgeous! I can’t wait to change up mine again. I went a bit darker/gloomy looking for autumn and winter (well, actually, I think it was more or less a subconscious move on my part due to my mood) and ANYWAYS, I’m swooning. So bright and springy and just generally lovely.

You accomplished quite a lot in March, so I hope April treats you just as well! If not, better!

P.S., I am leaning towards a 3 star rating for Wildcard as well.

    1. My theme went dark for winter too because I was in such a bad mood for like 4 months ๐Ÿ˜‚ having the sun out longer again has really helped and I needed some brightness in my life

I still think about how let down I was with Wildcard, I’d really expected more from it ๐Ÿ˜’

  3. You’re one of the few people whose rated Skyward 3 stars so far that I’ve seen. Obviously, that doesn’t mean it was bad but I’ll definitely check out your review. I’m also going to check out your review for The Waking Forest because there’s so many atmospheric books coming out this year it seems. What a stellar reading month! I’m excited for your April wrap up!

    1. I enjoyed Skyward I just didn’t like the main character ๐Ÿ˜ถ and the world building could have been better. But overall I liked it enough to continue with book two when it releases!

As for The Waking Forest it was okay but it was confusing and could have been executed much better.

  4. I also listened to Wildcard in March and gave it three stars! I enjoyed it but it wasn’t anything that really blew me away. You read so many of my favorite books!! The Illuminae Files is one of my favorite sci-fi series of all time (I really want to listen to the audiobooks at some point because I hear they’re fantastic), and I loved both Caraval and Legendary, and Furyborn has also become one of my favorite books of all time (I am DYING for Kingsbane). Wicked Saints is also a highly-anticipated release of mine so I’m glad you enjoyed it!

    1. This was my second read through of the Illuminae files and the Caraval series! I love them even more now than I did the first time ๐Ÿ˜ and oh my gosh Furyborn is absolutely one of my FAVVVVVS now! I plan on starting Kingsbane tonight actually! And I hope you enjoy Wicked Saints, my review went live this morning if you want to see my thoughts!

    1. Thank you! I don’t know if I’ll be able to hit as many books this month, I’ve kind of been taking a break from reading the last few days because I started to feel bogged down. But that’s okay! Audiobooks REALLY help me complete my goals! Wicked Saints is an absolute favorite, I have several different copies coming my way!
