Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.

Today’s prompt is for my top ten outrageous things I’ve done for the love of books.

In no particular order:

First and foremost, bought hundreds of books.

This has to be the top one even though this list isn’t in any order. When I started my bookstagram I owned maybe 10 books. Most of those being Harry Potter. Now, I own over 120 UNREAD books, that doesn’t even include all the ones I’ve already read. I haven’t even counted those.

Fell off a ladder trying to put book boxes on the top of my shelves

Yes, this happened. Yes, I fell flat on my back on a hardwood floor. That third row of boxes is just really high up 😂

Lived through breaking the internet to get the Aurora Rising Goldsboro edition, TWICE.

The first day we broke the internet I was one of the people furiously refreshing my browser for THREE hours. I did not get a lot done at work that day. And then the next morning I did it AGAIN and I managed to prosper and came out with the coveted book. Thankfully I had turned on post notifications for Jay Kristoff and Goldsboro so if either posted about the book being up for sale again I would know right away. #worthit

I guess I haven’t done a lot of crazy things when it comes to the book community. I’ve never been to a signing because authors never come even remotely close to me. I’m not big on putting myself outside of my comfort zone, so yeah.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done for the love of books?
