down the TBR hole

Down the TBR hole #21!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost In A Story (along with the pretty graphic!) The idea is to help slim down your Goodreads TBR, because we all know how large and endless that list becomes!

How it works:

→ Go to your Goodreads to be read shelf
→ Order on ascending date added
→ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
→ Read the synopses of the books
→ Decide: keep it or should it go?

My 5 books:

  1. Red Queen : by Victoria Aveyard
    • I don’t know how I feel about this one. On the one hand, I own the book and want to read it. On the other hand, I’ve heard the series gets.. kind of bad? Like apparently the second book is just terrible and I’m not sure I want to commit to this series.
      • Judgement: GO
  2. The Star-Touched Queen : by Roshani Chokshi
    • Another book that I have owned for ages but haven’t gotten to. Ugh I’m the worst. I do want to read this book though, I’ve heard they’re rather good.
      • Judgement: KEEP
  3. A Crown of Wishes : by Roshani Chokshi
    • This is the sequel to The Star-Touched Queen so I will definitely be keeping this one!
      • Judgement: KEEP
  4. The Muse : by Jessie Burton
    • I actually bought this a long time ago because the cover was so beautiful, but I just never got around to reading it and I knew I wouldn’t so I actually ended up selling it.
      • Judgement: GO
  5. Truthwitch : by Susan Dennard
    • So I actually tried to read this last month, I got about 57% of the way into it and I ended up DNF it. I put it back on my TBR though because I feel that I will like it, I just wasn’t in the right frame of mind for it at the time. I hope to return to it soon!
      • Judgement: KEEP

This week’s Down the TBR hole was actually pretty easy for me! Do you agree with my decisions? Have you read any of these books?
