Down the TBR hole #23!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost In A Story (along with the pretty graphic!) The idea is to help slim down your Goodreads TBR, because we all know how large and endless that list becomes!

How it works:

→ Go to your Goodreads to be read shelf
→ Order on ascending date added
→ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
→ Read the synopses of the books
→ Decide: keep it or should it go?

My 5 books:

  1. Ever the Hunted : by Erin Summerill
    • Well this is the second book in the Clash of Kingdoms series and in my last Down the TBR hole (THREE WEEKS AGO YA’LL 🙃) I kept book one so it’s only fitting that I keep book two! Plus, the covers are gorgeous!
      • Judgement: KEEP
  2. A Thousand Nights : by E.K. Johnston
    • Gosh I don’t know. This is a 1,001 Nights retelling that sounds promising, but from the reviews I’ve read it unfortunately falls short to other retellings like The Wrath and the Dawn. To be fair I haven’t read either so I don’t know if I can really judge based on that. I might keep this one for now because it does sound good.
      • Judgement: KEEP
  3. Blood Sisters : by Jane Corry
    • Psychological Mystery Thriller. It’s like I don’t even know myself adding something like this.
      • Judgement: GO
  4. A Land of Permanent Goodbyes : by Atia Abawi
    • War and Historical Fiction, I’m out.
      • Judgement: GO
  5. White Cat : by Holly Black
    • Hmm I do love a good Holly Black novel and this seems like one of her earliest ones? I haven’t heard of this series before I think I’m intrigued.
      • Judgement: KEEP

This was my first week back at Down the TBR hole in almost a month and I think it turned out fairly well! Any you would keep or get rid of?

    1. Yes very mixed reviews! Some really loved it and some saw it as sub par. Hopefully I can read it someday and make my own decision on it! I tend to be easily influenced by other readers unfortunately lol 🙈
