Down the TBR hole #24!

Down the TBR Hole was originally created by Lost In A Story (along with the pretty graphic!) The idea is to help slim down your Goodreads TBR, because we all know how large and endless that list becomes!

How it works:

→ Go to your Goodreads to be read shelf
→ Order on ascending date added
→ Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
→ Read the synopses of the books
→ Decide: keep it or should it go?

My 5 books:

  1. Red Glove : by Holly Black
    • Well well well another Holly Black book! Obviously that means I am keeping it, because I love Holly and want to read all of her books.
      • Judgement: KEEP
  2. Black Heart : by Holly Black
    • See #1
      • Judgement: KEEP
  3. The Kiss of Deception : by Mary E. Pearson
    • I have heard so many amazing things about this book and series! I bought them all with the anticipation that I will love them so I am definitely going to read this!
      • Judgement: KEEP
  4. The Last of the Firedrakes : by Farah Oomerbhoy
    • Meh, this is a story about Fae which we all know I absolutely love but I have read so many Fae stories recently I’m kind of burned out.
      • Judgement: GO
  5. The Rise of the Dawnstar : by Farah Oomerbhoy
    • See #4
      • Judgement: GO

Not too bad this week! Lots of Holly Black books that I hope I can read someday and I really want to read The Kiss of Deception. Do you agree with my choices?

    1. I’ve heard the second book gets that dreaded second book syndrome and is mostly a filler book for book three. The books are so big though I’m hesitant to even start them because they seem like such a large commitment!
