It’s time for Friday Favorites hosted by the lovely Kibby over at Something of the Book! Head to her page for the rules and prompts! This is a weekly meme hosted every Friday where you can show off your favorites (or least favorites) based on her weekly prompts.
This weeks prompt is favorite Autumn reads!
Hey hi I haven’t actually read this book π€·ββοΈ but I’ve heard it’s delightfully creepy and a perfect read for fall, so I’m hoping to get to it this month or in October!
Another one I haven’t read but plan to probably next month! I need those spooky reads for fall!
And another one I haven’t read haha, to be fair a lot of these just released! And are perfect reads for Autumn!
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Classic fall read. The introduction to the HP world and magic, werewolves, spells, and giant floating pumpkins and amazing Halloween feasts!
How could Coraline NOT be on this list? Have you read this book? It’s all of 190 some odd pages and it’s the creepiest book I’ve probably ever read! And it’s written for CHILDREN! Still terrified of those button eyes π
I still remember reading this when I was in middle school! Full of a creepy town with howls and shrieks and a headless soldier π²
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Is there another book that’s as perfect as The Prisoner of Azkaban for a spooky fall read? This one is full of werewolves and mystery, and the movie may or may not be a cult classic at this point that everyone loves for its fall vibes.
What books do you want to read/enjoy reading in the fall?
